The Gift of Life

2 Corinthians 5:17 Amp

Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].

Once you have read the verse above, read it again. Praise God for the greatest gift the world has ever been given. His Name is JESUS CHRIST. The day you receive Jesus as Lord and Savior you get born again. In that moment a great miracle takes place. You become a child of God, your old nature (sin nature) is gone and you receive a new nature. Jesus made a way for us to become new creations. He made a way to give us a new nature; the same nature of the Father. John 1:13-14 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. Wow have you ever said that and really thought about it, I am born of God! What does it mean to be a new Creation? What does it mean to be a child of God? The Miracle takes place in your inner man, in your spirit. Your spirit takes on the nature of your Heavenly Father. Now, the same Spirit that was in Jesus is now in you and me! Just like in natural, your parents are your source,their DNA is your DNA. In the new birth, our spirits are born of God. It is the life and nature of God coming into your spirit that makes the inward man a new creature. The bible calls this new life Zoe, it means the God kind of life. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life(ZOE) Through Jesus we receive the Gift of life. The greek word is ZOE it refers to the God kind of life, the nature of God. Our nature is identical to the Father. What great news when you can understand the Nature of the Father. His nature is Holy, Compassionate, full of love and grace. He also has the nature of a ruler, a creator and much more... Good News, we have been given His nature. Better News, we have been given His nature in ABUNDANCE. BEST NEWS, we have been given His nature in Abundance for all of ETERNITY!
