2 Chronicles 20:17 NKJV
You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the LORD is with you.”
The Lord your God is Strong and Mighty, Mighty in Battle! In 2 Chronicles a vast army marched toward God's people in Judah. The army approaching wanted to take back what God gave his people as an inheritance. The King at that time was alarmed and inquired of the Lord. The people came together as well to seek help from the Lord. Here is what God said
“Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the battle is not yours, but Gods.”
The King and the people responded in worship. The next day as they marched out they began to praise and sing of God's goodness. As they began to sing the enemy turned on themselves and fought each other. When God's people got to the battle everyone had already died.
God's people started praising him based on His word of victory. They didn’t have to fight; they simply took God for His word and thanked Him for it.
God has spoken victory over you today! How are you responding? Ps. It took the King and his men 3 days to carry back all the plunder and spoils of war! Hallelujah God bless you and may He continue to make Himself known to you.
