Isaiah 1:27
Zion will be restored by justice; those who repent will be revived by righteousness.
Those who repent will be revived by righteousness. The definition of Revive restore to life or consciousness and the definition of Repent is to change your mind.
Okay so here is what we must do. We must go from one way of thinking to another.
John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
Good news you, if you are a believer- You WERE condemned You WERE a sinner but NOT ANYMORE! Thats why Romans 6 : 11 says consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.
Without this repentance, this changing of the mind-Receiving the forgiveness of your sins and the finished work of Jesus on the cross then you are still in bondage. Remember the verse in 2 Corinthians 5:21 He became sin that we might become Righteous!
NO RIGHTEOUSNESS NO LIFE
Therefore when you receive His righteousness you receive life.
Proverbs 12:28
In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality.
The key is to develop a Righteous consciousness. I want you to be so convinced that you have been made righteous and there is no way you are going think otherwise. Provers 23:7 As a man thinks in his heart so is he. We need to base our thinking from the Truth.
Eat sleep breath and think ,I am righteous!
