His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
I remember as a kid talking with my brother about our dad always being right. For the most part growing up dad sure was, he always knew what would happen before it happened. As I reflect on it, there were times we went against what our dad had told us and of course when we did not listen, we would mess up or get hurt. How silly we thought we knew better than Dad. I think about and wonder why in the world we didn't listen. Not only was he right but he loves us and when we did listen we got the best results. Praise God, overtime we finally got it into our hearts that the best thing to do to get the best results is to listen to what dad said.
Now that I'm older I have realized God desires that same kind of Father, Son relationship. And Hallelujah God knows it all! He is all knowing and He loves us more than we can imagine. When we listen to what He has to say we will have success every single time. The key is to not only listen but to do what we have been told. In the Bible, Mary said to wedding servers “Do whatever he tells you”, and they did it, and witnessed the miracle of the water turning into wine.
God has those kinds of plans for your life.
Many times God will say something contrary to the natural. He might say to you use the water barrels to pour into the wine barrelIs. It's too expensive not to listen! Imagine if the servers did not do what they were told they would have missed an amazing miracle. God wants to be a part of your decisions today.
Go to him, listen and DO WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU.
Today, open your hearts, listen to what God says, do it, and get Godly results.
